Research only. Not an inspection, appraisal, or guarantee. I opened the public catalog with no login and placed $0 bids. I did not walk the yard. Ritchie Bros hours, photos, and function checks can be wrong. Everything sells as-is, where-is, plus their buyer transaction fee. Prices move when bidding opens.
Invoice is Dennis Myers. A custom shortlist before an auction is $250. Cash or check to Dennis Myers. I don’t buy the lot, hold your money, or take a cut from Ritchie Bros.
Auction: Northeast Regional, USA. Timed online. rbauction.com · north-east-md-2026350. Catalog showed 4,734 lots, 507 tagged Pennsylvania. Bidding opens 9 Sep 2026. Pay-in-full date on the lots I opened: 23 Sep 2026. Removal: 30 Sep 2026. Preview days start 12 Sep at North East, MD and North Franklin, CT.
The event page lists an Erie, PA yard. It did not post an item count next to Erie the way it posted 2,986 at North East, MD and 356 at Burgettstown. I did not invent Erie lots. The three below are real pages I opened.
Lot numbers are not published yet. The auction schedule on the event page still says “not available.” I am using Ritchie’s catalog ID, not a made-up lot #. No current bid or estimate was shown — bidding has not opened.
What I saw
| Machine | Hours | Where | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2023 Case TV370B CTL | 302 hr | North East, MD | High flow, two-speed, cab/AC, 84" bucket. Catalog ID 15682081. |
| 2021 Case SV340B skid | 945 hr | North East, MD | High flow, two-speed. Cab door missing. Catalog ID 15732340. |
| 2019 Bobcat E85 excavator | 2,510 hr | Burgettstown, PA | Rubber tracks, thumb, blade. PA yard. Catalog ID 15612070. |
Public catalog, no login, 31 Aug 2026 evening ET. 35 skid steers in this event (1 tagged Pennsylvania). 108 compact track loaders (1 tagged Pennsylvania). 76 tracked excavators (9 tagged Pennsylvania). Lawn-mower / farm-tractor filters did not isolate a list; I did not invent mowers or compact farm tractors.
Shortlist of 3
Option 1 · the retail CTL
2023 Case TV370B two-speed high-flow compact track loader
No bid yet · 302 hours listed · North East, MD
Catalog ID 15682081. Lot # not posted. Serial NPM425827. In yard, Lane 26 Spot 28. Enclosed cab, A/C, ride control, joystick, pattern changer, self-level, rear camera, 17.5 in tracks, hydraulic coupler, 84 in bucket. Core Equipment Group consignment. Ritchie: engine started and ran; drivetrain and hydraulics operational in a limited check. Payment due 23 Sep 2026.
- A dealer wants this shape: 2023, 302 hours, high-flow, two-speed, cab, 84" bucket. That is what landscapers and small GCs walk in asking for.
- North East, MD is a haul from Erie (~6 hours). Factor trucking, buyer’s fee, and a real undercarriage look — 302 hours can still be a bad set of belts.
- No EPA label on the report. Confirm the plate, serial, and that the hour meter matches wear before you bid like it is a 300-hour machine.
Option 2 · the Case skid, same yard
2021 Case SV340B two-speed high-flow skid steer
No bid yet · 945 hours listed · North East, MD
Catalog ID 15732340. Lot # not posted. Serial NMM402759. In yard, Lane 26 Spot 23 — five spots from the TV370B. Enclosed cab (door missing), A/C, ride control, joystick, pattern changer, self-level, rear camera, hydraulic coupler, 78 in. Same Core Equipment Group tag. Ritchie: engine started and ran; drivetrain and hydraulics operational in a limited check. Payment due 23 Sep 2026.
- SV340B is a large-frame vertical-lift skid. High-flow + two-speed at 945 hours is still a retail machine if the hydros are quiet and the tires are honest.
- Door missing is not a footnote. A cab door is money, a leak path, and a “what else got beat” flag on the retail lot. Discount it or walk.
- Same Lane 26 as the TV370B. If you go to North East, MD, you look at both the same morning. Do not bid this one unless the CTL is junk or already gone.
Option 3 · the PA pickup
2019 Bobcat E85 tracked excavator
No bid yet · 2,510 hours listed · Burgettstown, PA
Catalog ID 15612070. Lot # not posted. Serial B48412685. Pittsburgh yard: 1170 Route 18 North, Burgettstown, PA 15021. A/C, pattern changer, Tier 4 with a US EPA label on the report, 7 ft 5 in stick, aux plumbing, backfill blade, 18 in rubber tracks, hydraulic coupler, 36 in digging bucket, hydraulic thumb. Ritchie: engine started and ran; drivetrain, hydraulics, and chassis operational in a limited check. Payment due 23 Sep 2026.
- This is the Pennsylvania lot. Burgettstown is the short run from Erie / Cleveland compared with North East, MD. Rubber tracks, blade, thumb, 36" bucket — that is how an E85 retails.
- 2,510 hours is working hours, not a pet. Count track carcass, sprockets, boom-pin slop, and whether the thumb is tired. An 8.5-ton is also bigger than a true mini; know your buyer before you stretch for it.
- Inspect on a weekday at the Pittsburgh yard (Mon–Fri 8–4). Do not bid from photos. Confirm the serial B48412685 on the plate.
I’d pick this if it were mine
If this dealer is buying to retail compact iron: go to North East, MD and look at the 2023 Case TV370B (catalog ID 15682081) first. 302 hours on a 2023 high-flow two-speed CTL with cab and an 84" bucket is the one that can still make a dealer whole after trucking and the buyer’s fee — if the belts, rollers, and hour meter survive a cold start and a walk-around. The SV340B is the same trip, Lane 26 Spot 23. See it. Do not love it until you price a cab door and the tires.
If you will not haul from Maryland: the 2019 Bobcat E85 in Burgettstown (15612070) is the Pennsylvania machine. Drive that first. 2,510 hours is the haircut. Thumb + blade + rubber is the reason it is on this list at all.
I would not bid any of these from the couch. Preview starts 12 Sep at North East, MD. Burgettstown is open weekdays now. Bidding opens 9 Sep — so the honest move is inspect before 9 Sep if you can, or inspect 12–14 Sep and bid with eyes, not hope.
Before you bid
- Walk it. Start it cold. Cycle hydros, coupler, two-speed, A/C. Ritchie limited-function checks are not your inspection.
- Hours vs wear. Painted tachs, belt wear that does not match 302 hours, or a door already gone — walk or bid junk money.
- Serial on the plate = serial on the catalog. TV370B NPM425827. SV340B NMM402759. E85 B48412685.
- Add buyer’s fee, trucking, and 23 Sep pay / 30 Sep removal. Late pickup gets storage; 45 days is abandoned under their terms.
- Do not bid on unused Chinese mini-skids and “STARVOX / ARTEER / SDLOOL” lots unless that is your actual retail. This event is full of them.
Also checked, not on the 3
| Machine | Hours | Why it missed |
|---|---|---|
| 2017 Case CX60C · North East, MD | 1,506 hr | True compact (~6 t), swing boom, thumb, 12" bucket. Real lot — catalog ID 15682108, serial HHKHMC15AH0000192, pay-in-full 23 Sep 2026. Missed the shortlist because 12" is a digging bucket, not a retail package, and it is still a Maryland haul. pdp/15682108 |
| 2008 Bobcat S300 high flow · Kingsley, PA | 5,997 hr | On the live skid-steer catalog (35 results; the only Pennsylvania-tagged skid). 18-year machine, high hours. I did not open a separate item page for this one, so no catalog ID here. Find it on the skid-steer filter. |
| Dump / enclosed utility trailers | — | Live on the catalog: 9 dump utility trailers (2 tagged Pennsylvania, including a 2025 Griffin and a 2019 Pratt EZD11762 10 ft T/A at Burgettstown) and 15 enclosed trailers (3 tagged Pennsylvania, including a 2024 Car Mate 16 ft T/A at Burgettstown). Fine if you flip trailers. Not the iron a dealer usually wants from this hunt. Filters: dump utility, enclosed. |
| 2021 Case IH Steiger 580 Quadtrac | 2,475 hr | On the unfiltered catalog, North East, MD. 580 hp track tractor. Wrong size for a used-equipment dealer’s compact lot. Not opened as a PDP. Left on the event homepage list. |
Bottom line
One Maryland trip: TV370B 15682081 first (302 hr, 2023 CTL), SV340B 15732340 same lane if you are already there. One Pennsylvania trip: E85 15612070 at Burgettstown. I would pick the TV370B if the undercarriage and meter are honest. I would not bid the unused import mini-skids. I would not bid anything I have not started cold.
